    Morning All

Hope you did well at Lancing Mo and got home safely. Are you in the shop today or have a day off?

    More preserving Linda?

Cutting Dave? walking the dog, 'To Do' lists?

Getting ready for your event Lily?

I am off to the dentist this pm as a chunk of a molar broke off on Saturday, luckily does not hurt and Birthday lunch not ruined. Watched Murder on the Orient Express very good but not sure it followed the book.

Did nothing yesterday but chatted to my sister, a friend and a cousin on Lee's side. never mind a lovely day. Hope to make a start on some sewing this morning.

    Morning all.
Frosty and very misty today so far. Yes Caroline, Got a cut on the go to do, might finish today, another retro like the coffee one.
Taking the dog along the railway walk today, if it clears up, grab a few snaps for cuts.
Got to clean the windows inside and wipe the shutters down, do the washing...
Just offered to get up and scrape the ice off Sues car for work but she said stay in bed...😆
Not going to miss work, this is the weather when all hell lets loose and they want their pound of flesh and some...plus major ructions at the minute, Im better off out of it.

    Dave.

Morning all! Bright and no breeze at the moment. Been raining overnight so wet underfoot and chilly.

Yesterday, got everything sorted out and restored to where it should be after Saturday; rest of the day spent on various bits of admin and paperwork. Ridiculously (but as usual) I'm getting vague ideas for things for the Christmas events, but it's far too late to do anything about most of them even if I have the required components!

Today, get started on the practical side of gift packs (ie, make up the boxes and get the various jars out), print labels/tags then hopefully I can add decorations before the end of the week. OH has borrowed a chain saw and is going to deal with a tree which suffered severe damage during the recent stormy weather, and which hasn't been dealt with by Council or anyone else. It's not a major problem except it obscures our view in one direction at the exit to our driveway. I think he's just using it as an excuse to play with a noisy tool No time for cooking today, but must check the remaining apples and dispose of any that are deteriorating.

Glad you had a relaxing day Caroline, hope the dentist visit goes smoothly.
Sounds like your day is sorted Dave
Hope all is well with Mo and Pete
How are things going Lilly? Got the shop stuff sorted yet? Hope you're ready for your event.

    Good morning all.

Got home last night about 9.30 so not too bad. Reasonable time at the event and will probably do it again.Beautiful setting but so cold. No heating on at all and with entrance and exit doors open it was perishing on Saturday as we woke up to a frost, and apparently we were in the warmest room ! Sunday was a little warmer.

Hope you had a lovely birthday Caroline.

Quick visit, got to go to work. In the shop now for the next four days then the next event at Fort Purbrook next weekend. It's all go.

    Have a good day all.

    Hello all,

Cold and windy here, was brighter this morning, now it 5:30 and its dark, the clocks going back make such a difference, it now feels like winter.

Late today, nice lazy day mooching about do bits and pieces toward the weekend fair. I cut and hemmed the bit of material for a table cover, a quick iron before Saturday and it will be fine. I have also finished the key rings, thought it would be good to have something really cheap to interest people, they are just those plastic ones you put an insert into. Done a variety of simple die cuts and nice paper/card and 2 with initials to show and if needed take orders.

I have a pile of things to photograph, wanted to do it today but I can do it in the week.

Dave your days are already full, you will really wonder how you found time to work

Gift boxes sound like a nice idea Linda, keep half an ear out for men up trees with noisy tools, I always worry when mine is climbing around trees with chainsaws. Not that I think he will have any problems but he seems to go at it all far too gung ho for me.

Glad your weekend went well Mo, enjoy your days in the shop.

Have a good rest of the everyone.

I worry too Lilly, but fortunately today came to nothing - he went out to do the deed but the saw he borrowed is too blunt to cut through the wood and they couldn't find the sharpening thingy when he borrowed it. He'll get it sharpened and try again and I'll make sure I'm hanging around in the vicinity until he's finished, although he does know what he's doing and he doesn't have to climb the tree because it's split down the trunk and half has fallen across the verge.

As for your "cheap" things - there's no such thing as cheap on a craft stall, just value for money, whatever the price

    Linda
