    Hi there,
Newbie here! Just joined as im looking for various tips/advice for selling my wares at craft fairs and online...have already found some useful tips (Many thanks!)
But still cant seem to find advice of the best/most cost effective way to find packaging for posting out orders.
I mainly make and (try to) sell personalised box frames from 5" up to 20" but have not sent any out yet as am to scared they will arrive damaged.
Anyway ive just booked up for my first craft fair for December and feel that I need to have this sorted by then so i can offer P+P to potential customers who do not live locally.
The problem is all the postal boxes i'm finding that i dont have to buy in at least boxes of 100 at a time, are not deep enough to fit the frame and protective layers of bubble wrap etc.
Could anyone please give me some advice on the way you do this and which courier service you use to send orders?
    Many thanks,

Hi, most people in groups that I use including myself use slider bixes from Postpack. The frame is wrapped in a sleeve prepacked with foam then slid into a sturdy outer box. Frames have been posted to the other side of the world with no damage, breakages are rare.
You donít need bubble wrap, you can buy from one to as many as you like.
I use Royal mail for delivery, most courier insurances donít cover glass in frames.

How do you get the box frames? Keep the packing they come in and use that as first layer of protection.

I am not sure where you have looked but there some spe******t packing suppliers one is rajapack

I would use Royal mail too, use their insurance.

    Hope this helps.
