    Top blogging tip!

I've not been blogging long so i'm still learning how to improve things. I chop and change pieces all the time but one thing that has really proved worthwhile is my amazon affiliate widget!
My traffic isn't huge but it is a target audience so I provide links to the products I'd recommend anyway via amazon. ...it seems to be paying off! Alright it's not going to make me rich but it's worth a go.

Cheers gk - I dont know if this is the same thing or not (?) but I've elected to try out the Google Adsense thing on my new Blog - where Google automatically knows the type of business my Blog is about and places ads on there and I'm supposed to generate a revenue from the number of external clicks each ad gets?

    Thanks

...it's not quite the same thing. I got mine from the amazon website itself and it's got a widget for blogs specifically. I tried adsense and the ebay widget but didn't really get anywhere with them....the adsense one that's supposed to show related links kept advertising disaster relief so I don't know what that says about the actual blog!

Got myself an Amazon widget too now, thanks for the tip GK

I tried to get the Ebay one as well but my poor brain cant cope with their Commission Junction site! I think I managed to find the banners and got as far copying the url but (unlike Adsense & Amazon) couldnt find an easy way to auto add the widget to my Blog and the place I tried to manually paste the url to was obviously the wrong stab in the dark, Doh!

            Cheers

I think it's really handy....I swap the widget around depending on what I'm talking about on my blog. I may as well get commission if i'm advertising the product anyway!
