I have a set of glyphs that I want to embed into a quilted blanket.

I only have a general idea, but I might be persuaded to do it differently. I know how I want my background to be, and I think the best way would be to create circles or ovals for where I want to insert the glyphs, then the glyphs themselves I would cut out from a black fabric and sew into the middle of the circle/oval.

However, I would like to get some tips, ideas, inspiration. Does anyone have similar work they have done or seen? Pictures or links very much welcome!

    Thanks

Have you thought about mandalas? You can put symbols inside of them. Or place them around if you wish.

Never give up. Better finished than perfect.
