    Hello Group,

I need some advice! We have ordered some medals which unfortunately have the incorrect date printed on them. We would still really like to use them. As you can see, the date at the top and bottom of this medal incorrectly says 2017. Can any of you think of a way that we could cover up or hide the bottom and top date?

We’re open to options and happy to use any craft suggestions.

Thank you in advance for all your help!

Sorry cannot help, maybe one of the other crafters can help you. How were you going to use them? If on a card you could always put a flower such as a rose over the date.

Where did the error in production occur? Was it the information sent to the manufacturer, or if that was correct, was the error at the manufacturers, or in the proofing before the production run began? If the former, then the only thing I can think of is to find someone who can remove the incorrect dates and leave a reasonable surface to the medal, if the latter then surely you have recourse to a production run with the correct date on the medal, depending on which organisation/person okayed the proof?

Sorry I can't be of more help.
