I got the idea whilst in the shower one day. As I gazed up at the LED spotlight in the ceiling it reminded me of the centre of a speaker cone so I thought I would make just that. The 'false' speaker fronts of the amplifiers hide real speakers which are connected to the Hi Fi. The guitar was made from scrap hard wood off cuts and an LED chain.

Thanks Linda and Mo. It certainly beats the 100W light bulb that previously hung there.

That looks great. I run a P.A. Hire shop with my partner and the speakers would look great as window dressing or wall decoration in the shop. I also think that this idea would go down a storm in guitar shops, music studios and musicians in general.

Get making, get pricing and get advertising.

Thanks Lilly, I did a short Youtube video of the lights you might find interesting but I can't post link here. Search 'guitar lights'.

My projects tend to be one-off things for friends and myself but people keep telling me to take it further - so I think I might.
