I've watched lots of videos on youtube recently regarding printing onto wood using the gel medium process. I gathered from most videos that liquitex gel medium came out on top and this also mentioned that it can be used for both inkjet and laser jet prints doing exactly the same process. I tried laser paper and applied liquitex onto painted white wood, then placed the printed paper over the gel medium on wood and left it for 24 hours to dry. When I peeled it off the next day half the image didn't release and what was released just peeled back off. If you rubbed any part of the design which did release it either peeled off or smudged on the paint. I didn't do anything different from the videos watched so still cannot see how they got the whole image to release from the paper.

Can any suggest or give advice regarding your techniques that work best.
