Can anyone give me advice on acrylic stamping and blocks?

I make custom frames with various designs and vinyl etc but have been interested to use stamps for my lettering instead.
My writing is terrible and stencils don't look professional enough. I was thinking of investing in some stamps using acrylic blocks. Any ideas or advice welcome for a newbie.

    Thanks c

    Welcome to the forum.

Are the flames flat? if so stamps will work. I have used acrylic blocks and the flat stamps ion the past and they are very good. For letters I would use StazOn as does what it says. A lot of stamping inks are water based, so a hint of water would wipe them off. You would have to allow time for the letters to dry properly.

Hi thanks for replying. Yes they are flat I would be stamping around things like scrabble tiles and photos etc onto the frame mount and background.
I've seen other designers work using stamps and I like it but just wondered if anyone used a particular brand for the actual stamps and blocks?
    Thanks

Sir Stampalot has quite a few, The English Stamp Company, so many out there. Joanna Sheen's stamps are excellent
