I have a problem. After I have bisque fired my pots, I dip the outside in glaze. Because I use a different colour on the inside and want a nice clean rim, I use wax emulsion resist on the outside glaze, around the rim. I have been doing this and it has worked, until now. The wax, after a few minutes of applying, has peeled off, along with the glaze undearneath. See pic. I just donít know why and donít know what to do about it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Many thanks

What I do is pour the inside glaze first, no wax. Then sponge off any errant drops that have landed on the outside. The I glaze the outside. No wax used at all and no problems.

Thanks for your response. I might have to try that. I have established that is is a problem with the glaze not adhering with the pot. I think itís got to do with the new flint that i ordered. It had a different quality. Most frustrating
