My granddaughters love their dolls and also gymnastics so I'm making them some play equipment for Christmas. Dolls trampoline is done and turned out great . My problem now is making the gymnastic bars for them. Tutorials recommend small plastic pipe with plastic elbow and tee joints. I simply can't find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price. Any suggestions please

I'm afraid that PVC plumbing pipe will be pretty much the same price wherever you get it from.
A Trade Plumbing shop will probably be at the lower end of the prices as they have the power to buy in huge bulk packs from the manufacturers, otherwise you local Wicks would probably be the next best place.

Thanks for that, I appreciate your reply. I might just have to go to a local shop. I have been trying to come up with an alternative way of joining them but can't think what to do.

I wonder if these would work, if I got the right size of course. I plan to spray paint the frame when complete.

These all look very big for doll's equipment. For something a bit more to scale, it might be worth having a look at aquarium supplies - they're likely to be clear plastic, but if you're painting everything anyway...

The doll is 18" high. Do you think they would be too big.
