ID fabric

Hi can anybody tell me what this fabric is please? It's been used to make a large door bow, it's fairly stiff and holds its own weight and shape.

Welcome to the forum.

From the weave it looks like it could be a linen, but is certainly stiffened in some way if it holds its shape in a large bow.
Other than that I have no idea, but be patient and others might be able to help.

Thanks, I wondered if it was organdie/organdy?

Looks to me like Sinamay. Has an open weave but very stiff, used in hat making and for bows etc

If it is shiny could it be bridal organza

Hi looks like it is a crystal organza fabric, that has had stiffing applied.
