I'm fairly new to card making but have a dozen + finished to send to lifetime friends to thank them for their part in my life. All are 3 dimensional and for a newbie to the art, I'm very pleased with them. But now I'm ready to begin mailing them and wonder what the best way to do that might be. Many have paper flowers or other handmade embellishments. I wonder how to keep them from being crushed. Hoping for answers as this question was the main reason for joining this group. But I haven't seen too many current posts or replies in my browsing. Is anybody out there?

My mother used to make cards from her small hand made silk flowers, therefore 3d. She made boxes to contain the cards, and then if they needed to be posted/transported any distance would pack the boxes into more robust boxes with bubble wrap insulation to protect the contents as much as possible.

Hope this gives you some ideas of the best way to package your lovely work.
