Hello all!

I have decided to play around with coconut oil (extra virgin), shea butter (unrefined) and a small amount of beeswax. This turns out very smooth and smells fantastic when mixed with scents! However, after a week or so, the mixture turns quite crusty (as shown in photos). Does anyone know why this might be?

My current guesses are that it's either from it not being mixed enough during the melting process or perhaps it reaching too warm of a temperature when it's sitting around and it causes the shea butter to separate? (The crusty parts look exactly like the shea butter).

Any help is hugely appreciated!
