Hi, I am new to this forum and wondered if I could ask for some advice

For those who gift or sell their soap, how to wrap your soap? What do you wrap it in so it doesn't sweat or lose it's scent and how far in advance before gifting/selling do you wrap after it has cured?

Thank you for any help you offer

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I'm not a soap maker so can't give a definitive answer to your questions, but in this area most of the handmade soaps I have seen for sale (and bought) are wrapped only in a strip of kraft paper and either sticky taped down and/or tied with a piece of suitable twine/ribbon etc. I assume this method meets any legal requirements, but allows air to circulate thus preventing sweating.

We do have a couple of member who are soap makers, but they are not frequent posters to the forum at the moment.

    Good luck with your research.

I guess, kraft paper is the best option!
