Laser cutting / engraving machinePlease note these ads will not show for registered crafts forum members.

We have been making and selling bespoke painted wooden signage and gifts, and are now looking into getting a small laser engraving / cutting machine, in order to be even more bespoke, and to make our own shapes, as opposed to buying them in.
Does anyone have experience of the Chinese machines, easily available on eBay, with particular regard to ease of assembly and programming.
Eventually, if we can prove its value, I would be looking to move up to a larger, more capable machine, but just exploring at the moment and wondering what peoples experiences were.
Thanks in anticipation.

I own a laser machine but a big one so no experience with smaller ones. But in all honesty I would be careful who you buy them from - programming can be a bit tricky and it is just easier when someone comes and do the set up. also have a look at what programs your machine is compatible with - we ended up with Corel and took a while to learn that program too. Hope it helps
