    Selling to shops

    Hello,

has as anyone sold to shops? I have been asked about selling my childrens dresses by a local shop. They have asked what my retail and wholesale prices are. I know what my retail prices are but I'm not sure what to price my wholesale prices at. I would like to ask them for 25% off the retail price but I'm not sure if they will be happy with that.

    Can anyone help
    thanks

Most shops will expect a 40-50% discount on your retail price. Hence why so important to get your prices right. A shop local to me does sale or return for 50% discount. If they are buying stock from you they may expect a credit account, so expect to be paid month end after receipt. ie. deliver in July paid end of August.
