    Hi everyone,

My wedding is coming up and I would like to try making something similar to these hanging mini scrolls for my guest escort cards ---

I haven't done too many paper crafts before so I'm not very familiar with the different types of cardstock. I'd appreciate any suggestions for the best type of paper to use and methods to curl them smoothly!! Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Helo and welcome to the forum.

To roll card use something like a wooden dowel or knitting needle. Pencils can mark as often are not round and smooth.

The pins you showed are very pretty but probably not as simple to do as they look; getting a smooth curve with cardstock time after time is a challenge... Martha Stewart has a similar idea, which looks easier to create:

HoneyOnTheSun absolutely any rounded tool will work.....skewer, screw driver, paintbrush handle, hairbrush handle just make certain it is clean before you start. If you don't have anything to hand you can easily pick something up in a craft shop, pound shop or DIY store. Good Luck
