Hi Brinet, might I just point out that there are quite a few of us blokes on here that make stuff for our beloved partners, girlfriends or wives on Valentine's Day as well as you women, we are not all dinosaurs,......a party?...I wouldn't want the other two there as well so good idea? Er..? No.

I can't knit anyway but if I could I think my husband would less than impressed at the gift ...he is happy to receive handmade items but prefers they serve a purpose or are decorative in a meaningful way or are edible and yummy. He knows better than to buy me a knitted heart too - I guess we are not that kind of romantic
As for friends... why would they play a part in Valentine's Day? Not a good idea...

I think it's a great idea and it's very kind to think to your boyfriend but also your friends. After all, it's the day to celebrate love in any way
Maybe for your boyfriend a romantic dinner could be nice (my boyfriend love when I cook) , or you could make a nice card it's always well appreciated when you make something out of your own hands

Sounds like a good idea, Would love a handmade heart cushion I am sure he will love it. I will be giving a handmade card, cook a nice meal and a novelty gift.
