Ahh so lovely to hear about these special pressed flowers!

My granny was born in 1888 (she lived till she was 90) and had an album full of dance cards, from long ago when you'd have a card with a list of the names of all the men you were going to dance with, anyway there were faded pressed roses with each card...so romantic!

I posted my daisies then realised I hadn't photographed them.

They actually looked great. I had four, I stuck them on an A4 sheet of blue card then had it laminated and cut them into four smaller squares then Mr Eyebright made a cream mount for each one. I hope the four recipients will be pleased with their presents.

How lovely to hear that your efforts to press the flowers were successful and that when they were "processed" the end result was so delightful. I am sure your family who receive them will be very happy to have them as a lovely memory of your parents.
