    Default Christmas Quill-a-long

Following on from the knitalong, I'm planning on doing a few of these Christmas quills:

    http://www.reesedixon.com/2008/12/qu...-ornament.html

    http://www.whimsiquills.com/servlet/...gpatterns/Page

to make into one or more Christmas decorations. Anyone who would like to have a go too can join in with me if they like! I'm not planning on starting any until probably Friday at the earliest - or maybe next week (I have a fiddly project I'm working on at the moment that I'd like to get almost finished first before setting out on the quilling one!). This will give anyone who wants to give this a go to wave their arms frantically in this thread, get excited, jump up and down and maybe find some quilling supplies (lets face it - if you have the patience and time you could cut your own strips of paper).

I'll be interested to see how many of you would like to have a go!

Thank you for the invitation. This is something I would like to try at some time but at the moment I have just too much going on in my life to be able to consider it. I look forward to seeing pictures of the finished products though.

If its next week then please count me in...I am snowed under until after the weekend but I have always been meaning to give this a go and now would be a great time...you would not believe the number of strips of paper I have ready and waiting...my inner pack-rat keeps everything that might be useful sometime
