    Hello all

    Hi everyone,
I'm a crafter based in Brighton, currently working as support staff at Sussex Police but working on my escape.

I'm in the process of setting up my own business and, while I don't want to give anything away yet, I'll be hoping to get the forum's advice and opinions on lots of my ideas and also hope to get some good supplier recommendations from here.

I look forward to being a part of the forums.

Welcome to the Crafts Forum. You will find it a friendly and knowledgeable place to visit. You should find plenty of information about setting a business and I would also suggest you look at Business Link as they have a section on business start up with lots of good information.

When you are ready to tell us what you you are going to do then please share as we are a nosey lot really and you will receive plenty of posative feedback.

Looking forward to reading your posts and possibly answering your questions.

      Roger

PS In your line of business I would have thought you could find someone to pick the locks to escape from work. LOL.

Thanks for all your kind wishes. Once I'm a little more established, I'll share what I'm doing, but I think I'll keep you guessing for now, it's more fun!

I've already had some great help with finding cardboard thread spools (finding out what they were called was a BIG help!) so I'll definitely be back when I need more advice.
