Hi all,
I've mentioned in another thread on here that I'm pulling together a spreadsheet to help budding candle makers work out the weights and measures necessary for their projects. I'm sure you all have your own methods for doing this already, but I love the simplicity of having a computer do all the working out for you and who needs to be doing mental sums whilst watching wax melt??
So far It will easily show:
Also, if anyone can think of anything else they think would be useful in it, let me know either here or by PM.
If no takers, then I shall keep it all to myself!!

So far It will easily show:
- The amount of wax needed for any given container being turned into a candle.
- The amount of wax needed for pillar candles (square based and round based pillar moulds).
- The suggested weight in grams of FO, based on total wax weight (from 1-10%).
- An easy to use form for recording your own wax blends that will show, based on a percentage used, the amount in grams of wax and each additive needed for a single candle along with a batch of the same candles.
- Basic info on wicks and the size of candles they are suitable for (work in progress at present).
Also, if anyone can think of anything else they think would be useful in it, let me know either here or by PM.
