Here is a group of Christmas trees for the craftsforums nativity display to go with Peters delightful snowmen. I used to make thousands of these when we did Christmas craft markets and would make them on the street while people watched. I do them in 2 sizes at 6cm and 10cm and occasionaly a larger size. The ideal wood are the white woods like sycamore, birch, willow, holly and so on to get the feathering technique and that will make the colours look bright. The colouring is a food dye used in the catering industry. My boyfriend is miserable and won't let me have a Christmas tree in our very modern, minimalist (boring) flat - I reckon these would be perfect though, even he couldn't complain about something so small! Please put up website or where we can purchase.... thanks

Get rid of the boyfriend and get a Christmas Tree.

Love them. Can't believe food dye is that effective on wood. You learn something every day.

God helps them that help themselves.
