Wow, it's nice to hear some common sense talk about websites... I speak with lots of people using Facebook and it seems that some people think theses free website builder services will solve all their needs in relation to selling online.

Wordpress(FREE) + Woocomerce(FREE) + Free Template from woocomerce or maybe a nice paid template. There are lots of tutorials on youtube how to open a woocomerce shop. You have to pay only for your domain and hosting.

Having a website certainly can get very expensive. I would definitely suggest using a content management system, something easy to start with like Shopify or Woocommerce but, you will need the help of a developer and as you get bigger you will want to move onto a more robust content management system which is costly.

Wix is pretty good as is squarespace if you want a little outlay, but to be honest I think the best way to go is wordpress then moving to Shopify if you add mroe products. We had Magento sold to us and it turned out to be a nightmare, Shopify is so much better.

You can create your own website or add products on external resources for selling. There are many options available for customers, so choose resource which one suits you.
