Hi All,
I'm new to glass painting and have recently joined the Glass Painting Lovers group.
I'm using Pebeo Vitrea to paint on glass candle holders. The directions indicate that I should be baking the holders in the oven in order to make the paint permanent. I've done this, but I don't have a fan in my kitchen or stove and found the smell during baking was really terrible. I ended up having to open all my windows.....this was during the winter!!
I'm wondering if it's absolutely necessary to bake the holders or will the paint set anyway. I don't plan to put the holders in the dishwasher.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
