  • Divorce special!!??!!

Now then...can I ask what you think of this idea?...which was born out of me & some customers having a right old laugh at Saturday's Preston Craft Fair

I had lovingly displayed my latest prized sample at the end of my stall (the Wedding Special http://flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/2281927324/)
when I jokingly said I should make a Divorce Special with the photo very (artfully) ripped in two and some funny celebratory "congrats on your divorce!" sentiments so that could sit at the other end of my display next time!

...the customers nearby thought it was hilarious but then started talking about seeing divorce parties (like hen nights!) out on the town in Blackpool!...maybe the divorcees girlfriends would club together and get it as a funny prezzy for her?!....or I bet I could do a corker for the divorced lads!....my brain hurts just thinking about it!

    As ever, all thoughts welcome!!!

I think its a great idea too.

My friend had a divorce party - and they seem to be getting more and more popular.

Cant wait to see some pics of your ideas!

Dont see why not. If that's what is happening now and people are having parties etc I would get in there .
I was thinking about your pictures and What about advertising in clubs ?(bowling. cricket, dog agility etc ) just anywhere where you get a group that has a common intrest and somewhere to hang the picture.

            Cheers Janice

                Why not?

You can have a divorciversary as well as an anniversary! I know my sister celebrated her divorce. The decree absolute dropped through the letterbox on her 40th birthday!

Thanks everyone, if all these liberated gay-divorcees are traipsing about having parties, I think I might just knock up a medium sized celebration sample and get it out there - you'll see it first!

And you were so right Neesey! LOL

And Janice yeah, I keep meaning to get a team sport sample made, I love dogs, it'd be lovely to do a dog agility team! Brill idea

And what a great new word Jules - Divorciversary!

                  Thanks all!
