These are great fun to make -there is a lot of work involved but they are so worth it. I love the images on the first pic and the use of the bottle top and pins with chain is great. What binding are you going for? Have you considered a concertina spine for these? I am always interested in the construction choices and reasons behind them - there are so many options and no one perfect way to do these. Would love to see pics when you have finished. Are you making this for someone specifically? If not I guarantee you will want to keep it...

I always think is a bit like being asked to hand over your first born if you give away the prototype LOL You will appreciate the sheer effort involved in making this one...enjoy!

I know they are beautiful aren't they?? so much work goes into them but they are never usually for sale, there is usually a purpose behind them or being made for a particular someone, how would you put a price on all the hours of work that go into them I don't know, some are labours of love and would never be sold.

                This looks lovely, congratulations!
Please forgive my ignorance...what would it be used for or is it just an object d'art?
Sorry candles are my thing and I know little else about any other crafts!

Oh me too I love making candles but do like to explore other crafts. You can pop photos in the albums and write down on the journalling tags, i suppose its like a keepsake album, but some I have seen are definately objects of art !! x

It's lovely, so much work has gone into it. Definitely a work of art, and much nicer than the commercial photo albums.

That is so nice. Well done. I have some brown paper bags for doing this sort of thing but I was stumped before I even opened the packet, so many things to choose.I really like the little watch that you've done on the front page.

thank you both, I just made the bottlecap with a punch out clock face and then placed it over the clock on the cover.
