  • daughters cardigan

I knitted this for my daughter just before Christmas. She loves it. It's in her favourite colour!! It was also the first time I'd made bobbles in knitting.

It's adorable, and I know she is adorable in it! This can be her "mommy hug" sweater. Every time she puts it on, it'll be like mommy hugging her and keeping her warm!

        Oooooooh! That looks really lovely.

I'm with Susan, that's a warm hug. My nana made me a similar hug many, many moons ago. It was wrapped around a cushion once I grew out of it, I still have it!

I am going to do a cardigan in matching yarn for the cat. It looks like it is slowly going to become a trademark of mine to make a toy and clothing in matching yarn for new babies. I have already got a poncho/hat/teddy set ready for another pregnant friend. I'm just waiting for her baby to arrive to be able to give it to her! I'll start the cardigan for the cat this week after I've finished the scarfy thing I'm making.

Haha!!! You will find that I am actually quite bad at woodwork, metal work and proper actual arty drawing. I am also very talentless in other things like gardening.
