  • A quilt for daughter

Just finished this quilt for my dd. She wanted a cream coloured one which I thought might be a bit boring....but it has turned out quite nicely and not boring at all!

That is a lovely quilt. The little splashes of colour with the hearts lift it nicely.
So many projects, so little time

            Hi,
the quilt is beautiful I love the heart theme and the subtle tones and you do not have to have lots of colours to make an exciting design sometimes less is more.
A piece of work that you should be proud of.
I am new to the site and I am enjoying looking around and seeing what all you talented people are making
My craft is jewellery making but I am hoping to take up more crafts in the new year.
            Keep up the good work.

Ooh this is gorgeous. As has been said, the hearts are so tastefully done and along with the trim are just enough to perk up the quilt.

I've had a lot of 'surprise!' experiences when crafting, too. It's funny how sometimes we don't appreciate what we're making ourselves until it's done.

                  Lovely work!

Thanks everyone. With the muted colours it does fit into a wide range of colour schemes which is handy. Now I'm collecting fabrics for the next quilt.
