  • 'Country Chic Collection' - Tweed and Leather Foldover Clutch bag

This is the first of my new collection. It is inspired by the English Countryside!

The body is a cotton Tweed and I've used rembrants of gloving leather for the front detailing. It is fully lined in a waxed cotton.

I'm planning on doing a few more bags, some purses and pet accessories to go with

ooooooo, VERY classy and chic! The leather is used perfectly. And I have the very same buttons!! They came off an old sweater.

    These are super attractive...well done!

No need to worry about everything in the purse going soggy on a country walk with it being waterproof. Wonder what other items you are going to come up with. Pet accessories sound good.

Thank you all, I've done my second and now run out of buttons (typical!)
Yes I'm glad I chose the lining to be waterproof now as it will also be good for make up

I have a vision of how the doggy collar will look, just got to do it
I like the way it's turned out I didn't want to alter the shape of the way the leather came too much as wanted to keep it 'natural' looking.

              Will post the rest soon!x

They would have gone down a storm at the Lincolnshire Show. You'll have to get a good stock made and book yourself in for next year.
