  • Thinking of changing my logo/brand design

Have been playing with my design program again and have designed a simpler version of the dragonfly-jersey logo....
    What do you think?

I love the look, it's stylish and simple, but I think I'd probably add the word jewellery somewhere on the banner, so people know what you do.

I like the wording style but still have a soft spot for your current dragonfly as I think it is so beautiful. Even without the flowers around. Don't dislike the stylised one but prefer the 'fatter' one!! (we have an affinity LOL!)

Very pretty logo though - whichever you use.

Whilst on the phone to my dad just, I was playing with the beads in front of me and made a dragonfly shape.. just as an idea, the photo came out badly, else I'd post it lol

I love dragonflies too, so anything with a dragonfly on will appeal to me, but I was just wondering seeing as you make a lot of jewellery, could you incorporate that into the dragonfly? I'm quite struck on the the idea of getting images of different gemstones, and arranging them into a dragonfly shape, it would look so pretty.

Jmo and just an idea! x

It's a great idea....but I have to be concious of how it'll print on business cards etc. So sometimes simpler is better x

Ah yes good point! Being a web designer I have the mindset of screen and keep forgetting about print lol, although I'm getting into print so have no excuse really!

Much as love your current dragonfly Sarah, the new look is very stylish.

I'd agree that a slightly thicker line width would be more multi purpose, and legible!

I really like both, I have not developed a logo myself as yet, however I do think the new logo is very professional looking, although I do agree with Stef regarding a thicker line

let us know when you have tried printing it out in lots of different contexts.

just cos we are so very, very nosy!

Am not sure now.....several people have said they prefer the 'fat' dragonfly as opposed to the stylised one....am in a quandary now lol xx

I really like your 2nd one but I'm not sure how the dragonfly would look as a symbol on its own if you was to use it like your profile pic, if that makes sense?
