  • Prototype chicken decoration

Right this is the prototype mini chicken Christmas decoration. What do you think? They wouldn't necessarily be in this fabric but as I say it's just a prototype. Does it need any decoration on it?

I think it looks great. Don't think it needs any decoration, just keep them simple.

Right - eyes onto big chickens then tonight and I might have time to play around with teeny fiddly bits of felt!

Love the chicken, what about a bit of sparkle - maybe a little touch of glitter glue or something - if people are going to hang them on the trees might want to co-ordinate with the sparkly things they have on there already.

            Cheers.

Cute, how about sewing a few little seed beads on them to add a bit of christmas cheer? How big/small are they?

Actually this would look good... sparkly chickens dancing in the tree!
What about adding some sequin ribbon for the hanger?

I was thinking along the same sort of lines - maybe a bit of holly and berries on a collar / necklace for the chicken? Cos then you can take it off and have an all year round happy chick!

Very cute, how about a little prim rusty bell attached to the ribbon or something like that, and agree on some sparkle!!

I love it... I really think it looks quite fab in its black and white stripes, even if it's only the prototype... It would make a cool Easter decoration, so maybe if you want a "Christmas" set of chickens and then a separate "Easter" set then maybe add a little bit of sparkle somewhere..... (double your money with different seasonal chickens!!).

Right well seeing as I'm over this side of the country I had to go to Boyes and check out what they had!! I even gave one of my business cards to the lady serving as she expressed an interest in what I was making!! Shameless me!
Christmas fabric bought so expect to see some mini Christmas chickens soon. Indri - I love the idea of the Easter ones too - I might have to give that a go!

And obviously the three charity shops of Stokesley have a magnetic charm that just pulled me through the doors - not my fault at all that I spent money there Yarm and it's charity shops are calling me now so off I go!
