Star of the day teacher classroom plaque

Thank you for the help given on the help thread for this plaque over in 'general'

here is my finished plaque for my daughter to take in as her teacher's christmas pressie. We have a class collection but my children like to take in something from them personally. My littley is busy making hama star christmas decorations and she'll take one of those in too probably!!

So here is "Star of the Day" plaque. The bottom half is blackboard paint. (wondering whether to send in a stick of chalk too - everything seems to be interactive whiteboard in school now!!)



What do you think. I'm wondering whether to pop some gold glitter on the stars as they are not very gold looking! But I don't want it to be too much and ruin it all! Also debating whether to add this as a gift to the website. Not totally convinced!

It looks great! You could maybe glue on a small fabric pocket to put a piece of chalk in?

And I too would add a little bag for the chalk!

I suspect they would sell too! I would seriously consider one for my sister!

I've added extra twine to add some chalk.
I tried adding a little bag but couldn't really find the right place without either covering the writing a bit or taking up blackboard space after sticking enough of the bag on to prevent it maybe falling off!

I was really doubting whether it would be something teachers might want, I thought maybe they'd see it as yet another something to think about when they are already soooo busy, so it's lovely to hear it would be ok
