  • Daughters knitted poncho

I've now finished the poncho I have knitted for my daughter. They are great for her because she can get it on and take it off all by herself without having to worry about sleeves and where arms should go.
I hope you all like it This is the first time I have knitted something for her to wear. I'm starting on a cardi for me later today

That is lovely. There's no stopping you now is there. Do you knit on the bus to work then?

Sometimes if I'm on an easy bit of pattern that doesn't need too much concentration, I'll knit on the bus. Luckily I have a day off work today so once I've finished my household chores (I've just finished my ironing - must now put it all away) then I will be attempting the cardi!

It's great. Lovely and colourful and as you say, it's very practical.
I have two ponchos my mum made and Ilove them. Trying to persuade mum to make me another this year.

It's wonderful!! Well done!!! I love ponchos...they're like security blankets you can wear. I have one I knitted probably 15 years ago that I still have to snuggle in periodically.

Rhiannon is so cute in it - of course, she's cute in anything, right? But the poncho is absolutely darling. Yes, great colors...you have done an excellent job!

Never thought of knitting a poncho. No idea why not since i had a couple myself as a child.

I too had a favorite poncho as a child. Love the colours and the chunky knit, Rhiannon looks very pleased with it!
