  • Flower Brooch

    Thought I'd share a picture of the flower brooch I made. I was cleaning out my wardrobe and found the wool which I thought I'd put to a good use. My knitting ability only stretches as far as being able to just about knit a scarf so I made mini strips to make up the black petals. There is probably an easier way than making three individual strips but I had fun

      Hello just to say i am trying tp make knitted and crochet flowews at the moment as well as other things on the go (as always i cant seem to havejust one project at a time ) i am hoping to make flowers for buttonholes for my daughters wedding as they can then be kept as a keep sake , i have even learnt to follow a crochet pattern ( a bit any way LOL)

          just reread my reply , and i didnt say what i ment to say and that was i love the idea of using the vintage buttons and fabric with the knitted flower i may use that idea on the button holes for the wedding if you dont mind , from joy
