  • Baking sets!

These are the baking sets I've made for the two parties Anya is going to tomorrow. The rain stopped so that I could get outside to get some decent photo's too!

                  Fab!!

But then I would have to ask myself the question of if I wanted my two monsters 'helping' me bake cakes??!!!

I think they are fantastic and there is so much play value in them cos they can pretend too!!

Well the girls really liked them and the mums at nursery were talking about them too today so that's good!! Also Mia's grandma has told some of her friends about them and they have taken my details so fingers crossed!

Ummmm, can I make a suggestion about your photos Swirly. I've looked on your blog and on tuggle and all your photos seem to be quite blue in colour. Does your camera let you change your light settings from indoor / outdoor / tungsten etc?

                          Sorry to be a downer!

Ps - we'll be in competition on Tuggle when I launch my personalised aprons!!

The camera does have lots of various settings on it - my photo's went through a stage of being very yellow. I'm still very much in the finding out what works stage at the moment but compared to what they were like a couple of months ago this is a huge improvement!!

I sometimes find that when I point at the item I'm photographing it looks blue in the display thingummy (technical term), so I switch the camera to menu mode (so it shows photos you've already taken), swith it back to camera mode and for some reason it's balanced itself out to being white in colour. Might be worth a try? I know my tungsten / daylight/ nightime settings are in a different mode to my ordinary "point and shoot" setting. It might be worth spending half an hour reading the manual and maybe photographing something on white card to see which white-balance looks best. It seems a shame to not be displaying your work at it's best.
