My first felt cloche

I've been knitting and crocheting beanies and cloche hats for some time but this week took a break from fascinators and made me first felt cloche on a block (was very excited at getting my first wooden block).

It's photographed before I've pressed the silk so the ends look a bit messy and curld in the pic but wanted to share.

I'm sending it to my aunt in France as she's not too well at the moment.

That's really lovely!!! Very vintage, and I love that.

Wish it was a look I could carry off, but you need to be tall and slim with no hips/boobs, dressed like a '20s flapper with a cigarette holder, and wonderfully rich!! I have never, nor am I ever likely, to be any of those things!!! I can dream, tho...

Thanks everyone. I think the one I have on the block at the moment I'm going to try and make without a seperate brim and see how it goes.
