  • A bit more for the exhibition

Another bowl for the exhibition at the end iof the month. They want rustic type work so this should be ideal. It's laburnum and approx. 6" dia at thge bowl. Plenty of bark around the outside and a hole. (Sounds 'orrible put like that) The grain is fabulous as always with the usual contrast in texture and grain. (Click on thumbnails for larger pictures)

Also done a few more pencil holders for the shops. Sold one so have a couple more to go up.

Love the pattern on the pencil holders, and the bowl is gorgeous. Love the external shape of it.

I love these rustic bowls and I can just see one of those pencil holders on my desk. Do you sell them online as well?

Love the bowls because I just love semi "untouched" wood. My SIL had a coffee table made out of laburnam the top was polished but the shape' the legs and the underneath were relatiavely "untouched" I used to go on and go on to my partner about wanting a table like this till he found out it costs her £800.

Needless to say the xmas I asked for it he ended up swaying and bought me a snowboard and boots which I had equally been bugging him about .....cheapskate !

Pete, gorgeous work as usual, but then you know I'm a big fan of your work. I too could see one of your pen pots on my desk, might drop some hints for christmas if you have them for sale on your misi or etsy sites

            Thanks people,
the pots are on Etsy and Misis for 12.50 at the moment. I am sure I can let them go for a tenner for you if you want one. The bbowl I'll leave until after the exhibition. as I need to make sure I have the stock for that. (It'll probably be a bit more thasn a tenner though)
