It's the time of year to be making teacher presents, and my daughter informed me that one of her teachers loves red. I rarely work with anything red, but found in my stash this gorgeous heart bead by Sam at Blackheart beads.

I thought I'd try something kinetic, so a bit of silver and some soldering later, I came up with this. The heart and frame both 'spin' independently. I'm off to try more shapes now!

My daughter has advised me that I should be making a ring for her teacher, with a black stone!! I have spent a week trying to get glimpses of Mrs P's hands to see if she has chunky or skinny fingers !!
