  • A new departure for me...

    Hi everyone,

I've just finished making a new project. It's a new departure for me away from my usual card making. I was inspired by looking through several bags of wool I had left over from ages ago when I started knitting again. I've added it too my albums, sorry it's a Christmas theme in June!!! I've used fimo for the first time for the decoration and I love it, I am quite pleased with how it has turned out, needs a little more work, but I already have some drawings for one for a little boys room and one for a little girls room. Please take a look in my album and let me know what you think.

    Thanks, big hugs,

    Helen. xx

Don't they look great. Love the inserts. I agree. it had to be a Christmassy theme with such a vibrant red. Is it the eyelash wool, seems to knit up nice doesn't it.

Thank you, I am pleased with it for a first attempt, I don't know what if the wool is 'eyelash' wool or not but yes it doesn't knit up well it is very forgiving, I'm not the best knitter in the world.
