A Pendant & Recent Bead Sets

I made this pendant for a friend's birthday tomorrow.

and these are recent beads;



The middle set are much nicer in real life but I couldn't get a decent picture. They have little rainbows of colour inside them, and I didn't put them there. Magic! I love glass I do.

Sorry for the hog, but I haven't shown my beads for ages. In fact I haven't made many lately!

The pendant isn't a stone. It is actually a glass bead that I have made. Glass beadmaking is called "lampwork". I use glass, in rods I melt the rods in a flame and then wind it around a mandrel to make a bead. This is then cooled in a kiln to avoid it cracking from cooling too quickly.
