  • What to do with them now...

Had a lovely time painting some scrabble tiles yesterday, I really like them but have no idea what to do with them. Poss glaze over the top to make pendants but am not sure how it will react with the acrylic paint. Dh reckons I should market them as teapot stands for dolls houses

they are gorgeous , I would coat them with a varnish or maybe diamond glaze them and add an aanruka bail to them and pop them on a ribbon necklace or keychain

Place mats or teapot stand for doll's house

        Fairy stepping stones

Little pictures for doll's house walls

        Tiles for mosaicing

Or as little artworks for dolls houses? They're really cute!

You could always arrange them on a bit of wood or glass would be nice, as you have laid them out in the picture and sell them as artwork for walls.

They are gorgeous - can I ask, what type of paint you used?

LOVE these and love all suggestions so far. So cute, and perfect for a lot of things.

I've seen the scrabble tiles for sale, and the resin pendants made from them, and really want one, lol. Rings with these would be cool too. Something different.

                  Great stuff!

Thanks for all the lovely comments!

                    I used acrylic paint

I think I will coat them in diamond glaze, I have seen scrabble tile pendants for sale but not hand painted, how would you price them? Same as the ones with pics?

Love all the ideas, thanks all. The ring idea is nice, would just have to figure out how to attach them.

They are fab, I have varnished over acrylic paint sucessfully.

They would be great as pendants!

Very pretty. I like the dolls house ideas and keyrings. You could also put them onto greeting cards, stick them on directly or string/ribbon them across or down the card.

Very cute! Loads of fab ideas mentioned so far but as so many people are selling tile pendants I would perhaps look to the other suggestions such as the dolls house items esp the wall art idea (goes off to give rep to madly creating)!
