  • Heavy weight

I recently was asked to make some one one of these and thought I might show it her. I do these heavyweight deliberately as they are so often flimsy things. They are finished with a lot of sanding to a really smooth finish and then just ordinairy veg oil so that they are food safe.

This one is 6" dia at the top and about the same in height

Oh wow, that is stunning I admire anyone who can make things out of wood... nature at it's best.

            Love it!

Thanks guys. It's always nice when someone likes your work enough to give good money for it. I have been going to have a go at some jewellery and have got the findings but haven't got past that stage yet. So much wooden jewellery that I have seen has been clunky heavy stuff which personally I'm not keen on. I'd like to try and make something a bit more delicate so am still looking for ideas.
