  • Stuff for my friends wedding

Have made this as a present for my friends wedding. There is a tiara, hair vine, earrings and a couple of hair clips. Its based around a necklace and bracelet she already had made with black twisted wire and the lily beads you can see, I have just kind of added to it and stuck extra bits on. There are other pics on my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/gigglinggoblin/

Thanks for the comments, I am really chuffed with them and I do love the colours. I particularly like the black wire which has surprised me!

I didnt even have a hat when I got married! So double lol. Wish I had been crafting then like I do now, it would have looked very different.

                          Hi,
                          They are lovely.
I have been asked by my niece to make her a hair vine for her wedding and really don't know where to start. I'd never even heard of them until I went to a wedding fair! lol
What thickness of wire did you use? She wants something very simple with crystals and freshwater pearls. Think I'll have to just have a play and see how it goes. You have inspired me!

I used 0.4mm wire, same as for the tiara. I used black craft wire but silver or gold is more traditional for a wedding I guess. Having said that you wouldnt be able to see those in my hair so colours would work better for me (not that I am planning to start wearing one for the school run). Just slide the beads on and twiddle, its very easy. There are some closer up pics on flickr if you click the link and you can make them bigger then aswell so you can see what I mean. I was a bit daunted by the vine actually but once I started it was fun, you cant really go wrong with them
