  • Persistence of memory....

I wrote about this one on my PMC tips blog but I was so pleased with the results I thought I'd share it with all my friends here too

If you want the full story it's here but (long story short) she was made from lots of re-purposed pieces I had on my workbench after reading some Dali books.....

Have you ever read and inspirational journal/book & then re-purposed some of you pieces?? Exciting isn't it!

Beautiful! I'm a big fan of Dali and I can really see the influence there in your necklace. It's really great

(Thanks for the blog comment too Sally)

ladyluckjewellery - Dali was one of the first artists that I really connected with, I used to have a huge poster of "Soft Watches".

I will be listing it on Folksy & my shop soon but it took me two days and is over 38 grammes of fine silver....(about £30 in materials alone ).
It's also a bit of a statement piece, 4.5 cms across so might be a bit big for an Easter Egg!

I am thinking of making some smaller more salable versions though so wil let you know if I make them

Ah - more of a birthday or christmas present then - but I would be interested in a smaller version.

It is a stunning piece - and I hope that you will make some smaller copies of it for sale - I know this is something that I would treasure at is it unusual and striking.

Really nice piece. Have you ever been to the Dali museum? It's in Figueres near Barcelona. The place is incredible; he was a genius, and a little mad I think!

This is a really good job !
This is amazing ! I like Dali' s work and I'm sure he would have loved it .
I especially enjoy the idea of smaller pieces more salable.
