Lovely, well done. I think the colours look lovely too.

Is this what they sometimes call "Shabby chic" or is that something different? I'm never sure

I use to do patchwork when I was learning to sew. That was 45 years ago or longer. I grew up on a farm in Va and we made quilts out of feed bags. Then about 25 yrs ago it came into style as country or Primative. Now I think its called Shabby Chic or Retro country.Even though I have been seeing a lot more UK crafters on e-bay doing primative crafts. Whatever its called I like making something out of what others think is trash.
I love the colors as well. These colors we in style in the 80's in the states and were all the rage in country homes. To me they are warm and snuggy and make you fill like a cup of hot chcolate would make you fill on a cold nite.

Thanks for that, to me it will always be patchwork, I don't really like the term shabby chic. As you say, whatever they are called they are lovely and they do make me feel warm looking at the colours.
