  • Underbed curtain using felt

While rummaging around in some boxes my husband found these curtains that I made to cover the gap under our son's cabin bed. All the characters were drawn freehand and then cut out. I then blanket stitched around the edges to finish off. There's a dragon, ducks, flowers, trees, clouds etc, it was really fun to do

Hehe thanks! That's where all the mess is auntynet!! Mind you hubby makes the beds as soon as they've gone to school, after my accident he became our brilliant househusband. That must have been a good day though, it's not been like that for a while! This old place has hardly any attic space and we've got things all over the place. I swear by those coloured storage boxes though...and bunging things under beds! Just thought I'd add that I made this about 6/7 years ago when Adam was about 6/7 and yep, that was his hidey hole and den. I was quite surprised that he left it up on the bed after taking this piccie as he's 13 now!! We've just swapped it for a low divan bed, which isn't such a good move regarding storage, but that's what he fancied so we went for it. If I took a photo of upstairs as it is now you'd be shocked, it's a tip. Aaaargh!
