Carved Silver Clay Icon

[MuranoSilver]

Here's my latest Art Clay Silver creation (ACS is similar to PMC, precious metal clay). I moulded & shaped the basic body in wet clay then sculpted/carved the fine detail once dry.
I'm now thinking of having it cast in sterling silver, but I'm not sure how "saleable" it is ....
Would you wear this? Any opinions gratefully received

It is beautifully carved and because it is so skillfully done I am sure it is 'saleable.
It is not something I would wear from a style point of view but that is just my opinion I wear very little jewellery anyway, which is probably rubbish as I make the stuff!

It's also not something I would wear either but do agree that it is very pretty and I can see that there has been alot of work gone into it

i saw this on sunday at the pmc course, it is beautiful and would def appeal to lots of people. me for one and its just the kind of thing my dd and her friends wear

That is beautifully done. I am not a jewellery person but it doesn't stop me admiring lovely objects and I am certain that there are a great many people who would be only too happy to wear it.

I know a couple of people who would probably wear that. I think it could be quite saleable.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, artsy crafty people are my perfect target market, so that makes you my perfect people to canvas for opinions!
It seems to be about 50/50 for "wearability" so if I get it cast, then I'll go for a short run

I think its gorgeous and I'd definatly wear it, its very art nouveau........beautiful !!
