  • First Wireworking earrings

    Here is my first attempt at wireworking. I made these earrings as a trial project but am please with how they turned out. The pic doesnt show them in thier best quality just cos i couldnt be bothered setting up my photolight. The bottom beads are more reddish/purple and the top ones are light transparent purple.

                          They are great! I am finding that the best way to move forward is practice practice and dont be afraid to make a mess and scrap it! It took me a few days to pluck up the courage to use the sterling silver wire that i bought and if i wanted to try something new i would try it out on the silver plated wire first.

                          Im going to put a thread up later of all the creations iv made for the craft fair.

                            Sounds good, might give me some creative inspiration. I did try to make a butterfly outline using the wire and then i was going to use little beads and wire to "fill" it in but that didnt work lol its now sitting in my scrap pile to take apart and make something new with

                              Oh god i tried to make a heart shape even and it didnt turn out quite as i expected!




                              Im glad im not the only one up working. It can get quite lonely! OH is in bed, dog wandered off. Im left with the cats who are just a pain lol.
