  • Koi Carp Keyrings

These are some recent keyrings i have made, using the art of pyrography to burn the images into the wood, then adding some colour after the burn had been done.

They feature Koi Carp, which ive always had an interest in, mainly because of their significant symbolism; ranging from good fortune and luck, to symbolising strength and aspiration

Any feedback on these would be great to hear,
    Which is your favoutite?

Oh wow these are fab, love that the koi seem to be floating above the wood.
I like the bottom right one, well I like them all but I like the shaded colours on that one,
    well done

They are really beautiful. How big are they?

The bottom left is my fave, but I love them all.

            Lovely!

When I was a kid we often used to go to Sewerby Park (near Bridlington) - there was a fishpond in the walled garden with "giant spotty goldfish" which were fascinating - it was years before I realised what they were!

WOW!!! Those are absolutely stunning... so much detail and they really do look like the fish are raised above the main surface

Thank you to all those who have left kind comments, they are much appreciated. And thanks for the great feedback too on the appearance of the Koi, its great to hear such opinions about my work.

To Cupcake, the keyrings are around 3 inches in length.

To onlyme, my keyrings sell for £2-£5 depending on the work that goes into making them. These particular pieces would be nearer the latter price.

                        I hope that helps

                        Thanks again,
                        Nader

                              Amazing!
The fish on the left in the first picture almost appears to be moving (could just be the amount of vodka I've consumed tonight) no seriously they are brilliant, I have no idea what goes into making something as nice as that so well done!
